Discover the beauty of Alaska and the Yukon territory. Enjoy a visit of the Denali National Park, Dawson City with it's Dimond Tooth Gerties Show and more. Glaciers can be seen in Glacier Bay National Park, mountains and more scenery in the Glennallen area.

Day 1 * Anchorage
Arrive in Anchorage. Transfer by shuttle to your hotel in downtown Anchorage.Overnight at the Holiday Inn Downtown (moderate category) or the Sheraton Hotel (deluxe category).

Day 2 * Anchorage - Denali (237 mi / 381 km)
Pick up your rental car this morning. Continue your journey north to Talkeetna. Enjoy an optional Mt.Mc Kinley Flightseeing Tour this afternoon from Talkeetna. Continue your journey to Denali. Overnight outside the Denali National Park. Overnight at the Denali Bluffs Hotel (moderate category) or the Grande Denali Lodge (moderate / deluxe category)

Day 3 * Denali
Enjoy an early morning Wildlife Tour through the Denali National Park. A snack / lunch is included during this tour. Don't forget to bring your camera and/or your binoculars . Wildlife, such as caribou's, wolves, foxes, moose and maybe some bears can be seen during this excursion. Overnight again outside the Park.

Day 4 * Denali - Fairbanks (121 mi / 194 km)
Continue your journey north to Fairbanks this morning. Upon arrival in Fairbanks visit optional the University / Museum of Fairbanks. Overnight in downtown Fairbanks at the Westmark Hotel ( moderate category) or the Aspen Inn (moderate category incl. Deluxe continental breakfast).

Day 5 * Fairbanks - Tok (206 mi / 330 km)
Today you drive from Fairbanks along the Richardson and Alaska Highway to Tok. Your first stop will be in Northpole to visit the house of Santa Claus. Optional lunch in Delta Junction. Upon arrival in Tok check in at your hotel. In the evening visit a Dog Sled Demonstration in downtown Tok. Overnight at the Westmark Hotel. (moderate category)

Day 6 * Tok - Dawson City (187 mi / 299 km)
Your next destination is Dawson City. Upon your arrival, check in at your hotel. Afterward enjoy a City Tour of Dawson City including a visit of the museum. In the evening enjoy a visit of the Dimond Tooth Gerties Show. Overnight at the Westmark Dawson City (moderate category).

Day 7 * Dawson City
Optional excursions are available, such as gold panning, a river cruise and barbecue or enjoy some more gambling at the Dimond Tooth Gerties saloon. Overnight again in Dawson City.

Day 8 * Dawson City - Whitehorse (327 mi / 523 km)
Travel south along the Klondike Highway to Yukon's capital city. Enjoy the scenery along your way and watch out for some wildlife such as moose or maybe a grizzly walking along the road. Overnight in Whitehorse at the Westmark Hotel. ( moderate category).

Day 9 * Whitehorse - Skagway (209 mi / 174 km)
Your journey continues to Skagway today. Upon arrival in Skagway enjoy a walk through downtown or visit some of the cultural museums Skagway has to offer. Overnight at the Westmark Skagway  (moderate category).

Day 10 * Skagway - Gustavus (by air)
Board your L.A.B. Flight to Gustavus this morning for an unforgettable Whale Watching Cruise to Point Adolphus. Transfer from the cruise to your lodge in Gustavus for your overnight. Overnight at the Glacier Bay Lodge (moderate category) or the Glacier Bay Bear Track Inn ( upper category incl.meals).


Day 11 * Gustavus - Haines (by air)
Early morning enjoy a Spirit of Adventure Cruise. View the magnificent glaciers, the abundant wildlife and marine life surrounding the area. Return to Haines this afternoon by plane. Overnight at Hotel Halsingland (moderate category).

Day 12 * Haines - Beaver Creek (225 mi / 360 km)
Drive to Beaver Creek this morning. Visit the Kluane National Park along your way. Arrive in Beaver Creek this afternoon and check in at your hotel. Enjoy a Dinner Show at the hotel this evening. Overnight at the Westmark Beaver Creek (moderate category)

Day 1 * Anchorage
Arrive in Anchorage. Pick up your rental car (midsize car) and drive to your hotel in downtown Anchorage.Overnight at the Aspen Inn downtown (moderate category including a deluxe continental breakfast) or at the Sheraton Hotel (deluxe category).

Day 2 * Anchorage - Denali (237 mi / 381 km)
Your journey continues north to Denali this morning. Stop in Talkeetna for an optional lunch or for a flightseeing tour to Mt.McKinley. Day 4 * Denali - Fairbanks (121 mi / 94 km)
From Denali drive north to Fairbanks this morning. Day 5 * Fairbanks - Glennallen (250 mi / 400 km)
Your next stop will be in Glennallen, Alaska. You can stop for some lunch in Delta Junction before you arrive in Glennallen late afternoon. Glennallen is the gateway to the Wrangell Mountains and the service center for the Copper River basin. Four prominent peaks of the majestic Wrangell Mountains are Mt. Sanford, Drum, Wrangell and Blackburn. Overnight at the New Caribou Lodge (moderate category).

Day 6 * Glennallen - Kennicott (66 mi / 105 km)
Drive to Chitina this morning. From there board Wrangell Mountain Air for an incredible flightseeing tour to McCarthy. Upon arrival in McCarthy transfer to the Kennicott Glacier Lodge. This afternoon enjoy an optional Ghost Town Tour or a Walking Tour on a glacier. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 8 * Kennicott - Glennallen - Valdez (122 mi / 195 km)
Enjoy your flight back to Chitina this morning. Pick up your rental car and drive south to Valdez. Overnight in downtown Valdez at the Aspen Hotel (moderate category with deluxe continental breakfast).

Day 9 * Valdez - Anchorage (via ferry)
Board the Alaska Marine Highway early morning from Valdez to Whittier. Upon arrival in Whittier drive your car back to Anchorage, Alaska. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your leisure.
